What do you want?

I want to live it all for the gold
No, not for how much its worth,
But for how bright it shines in the glare of their eye.

I want to jump through all the hoops for god,
Not to be at the other side after,
But to show them that I can.

I want to get in front of thousands and praise your name,
Not to give some one for you people to follow,
But to do what you would have done.

I want to call up my brothers, go to my meetings,
Not to truly build those relationships,
But for them to think that I do.

But really that is what they want to do,
Surely I am the same as all of them,
But only if they desired what I do.

Let’s end the intellectual stimulation,
And forget the “do what I can to get by” mindset,
Lets be brothers and loves,
And take his love so much farther,
We don’t really want to end it like this.
