True Friends

To have a friend like you,
Only comes once in a great few.
A friend with a smile as bright as the sun,
That compares to none,
And it will take my breath away,
For when I see it, everything else appears gray,
For I know this true friend,
Who cares not about the trends?
But the one above all,
The one we can always call,
And to know you know the same,
The reason why he came,
Makes our bond even tighter,
To defend against some lighter,
In this world of gas, which has replace our mass,
But we will stick together,
Never surrender,
But keep our bond strong,
Because I would regret to lose a friend as great as you.

good work

just remember every line doesn't have to rhyme for it to be poetry.
